The building, Helgeandshuset, was renovated into a hotel in 2006. The main building is originaly from the middle of the 13th century and has itw own history. The house is classified a cultural heritage and building monument. Originally it hosted Visby’s oldest hospital, almshouse and guest house. Today the building is one of Visby’s oldest residential buildings. The hotel is located in one of Visby’s inner city’s largest courtyards holding the ruin of Helge And, a large lush garden and a large parking area next to the hotel. The garden is noticeable calm even during the busiest tourist season.
Ulrika and Tobias are running the hotel since May 2021. Our ambition is that you should have a memorable stay, and want to return to us.
